Just finished reading an interesting article about space travel and NASA. Back in the 1960’s they discovered that astronauts couldn’t use pens to write in space. With no gravity, the ink didn’t seem to flow downwards.
Along comes a man called Paul Fisher that designs a space pen.
1.5 million dollars (U.S) later and the problem is solved.
NASA the powerhouse of space travel was now equipped with space pens.
So what did Russia do?
Did they purchase these space pens?
Did America sell these pens to the Russians?
What happened next?
The Russian Cosmonauts decided to use pencils.
Something to think about
We often spend large amounts of time and effort creating elaborate solutions, don’t we?
What’s that got to do with kid’s soccer?
EVERYTHING!
Forget complex drills, long training sessions and the latest equipment and give Love Based Soccer a go. It’s simple, but it works.
“May the winds of destiny blow you to the stars.”
Robert Brown says
What do the Russians do with all that pencil dust floating around the cabin when they have to sharpen them?
