Kids Soccer- Your Kids Could Play In A Band Without Even Learning A Musical Instrument

May 7, 2009 by thomas karapatsos 2 Comments

The modern game of soccer caters for over 120 million amateur players. That’s right, you heard correctly. Throw in the full time professionals and coaching staff and we‘re on the brink of an epidemic. Soccer is spreading through the world like a rampant fire. Can soccer be stopped? Should the other codes be worried?

If the other sporting codes aren’t worried, then they should. Soccer has penetrated the youth of today and put quite a strangle hold on them. So what’s the attraction?

Could it be the rock star lifestyle players live? The inflated pay packets that are clearly not affected by the world’s recession or is it the supermodels that they hold on each arm?

If I was to hazard a guess, I would guess that soccer is fun. Young children play soccer because it’s fun, full stop. They are not worried about money, women or the rock’n’roll lifestyle are they? Young players initially get involved in Soccer because it’s fun and a chance to make new friends.

It’s no secret that young kids get bored very easily which can account for all those times they’ve misbehaved or got themselves into trouble. Soccer eliminates this problem. Soccer is a game that’s fast paced, end to end and involves all players taking part simultaneously. There is no time to scratch your head and less time to misbehave.

The initial cost to get involved in Soccer is zero. Every child has a pair of shorts, T-shirt and a pair of shoes. Every young child has legs that bend at the knees to allow them to chase the ball. Let your kids play soccer while you ponder if in fact your child could be the next David Beckham. Would make for a great superannuation payout wouldn’t it?

Kids Soccer is becoming a mass phenomenon with no end in sight. Will your child be part of this joy ride? Let’s hope so. Initially let your kids have fun and the chances of them playing in a rock n roll band without even playing an instrument could be significant.

The last soccer tip I would like to offer is this, if your child was learning to play guitar, would you expect him to break into a guitar solo from the start? No you wouldn’t! So why do you expect him to turn into David Beckham overnight? Think about it next time you yell or try and discipline your child for having fun.

When I was child, my aspiration is to be a soccer player. Soccer is the most enjoyable game I think. When playing soccer I don’t feel to get bored. It’s fun. Run to every side of the field and make a score is the climax in this game.
